EN 1.4462 is a stainless acid resistant duplex steel with high strength and extremely good corrosion properties. It shows high resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, uniform corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It is weldable by most common practices. The material is NORSOK compliant and approved to NACE MR0175, MR0103. The material is supplied in hot rolled, annealed and ground condition.
